Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you (the business using Staffkin) and Waypoint, based in Kentville, Nova Scotia ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Staffkin provides tools for hiring and onboarding: question guides, prescreens, interview scoring, reference checks, onboarding checklists, PDFs and email. Question templates, scoring guides and AI drafts are general tools. You are responsible for your hiring decisions and for making sure your process follows the laws that apply to you, including human rights, employment standards and privacy laws.
Your account
Keep your login secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite to it.
Your data
You own the information you put into Staffkin. You confirm you have the right to collect it, including consent where needed. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Don't use Staffkin to send spam, to contact people who haven't agreed to be contacted where consent is needed, to discriminate against candidates on protected grounds, or to break any law.
Plans, payment and cancellation
Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Settings; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Prices are in Canadian dollars and may change with 30 days' notice. Bought AI credits don't expire and aren't refundable.
AI features
AI drafts can contain mistakes. Review every AI-drafted question before you use it. AI in Staffkin is not used to screen, score or select candidates.
Availability
We work to keep Staffkin available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is". We may change or improve features over time.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect losses, including lost profits or hiring outcomes.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Staffkin and ask us to delete your data at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
